It was a normal day for college students Leo and Kim at their part time job. Yet when their routine is broken by a terrible accident, they are both unwittingly flung across dimensions, landing on a world of fantasy and adventure, and right into the vile clutches of a merciless warlord.
Separated from Kim and forced into the cruel games of a manipulative witch, Leo must forge new alliances and exploit every ability and tool at his disposal to chase after his captured friend, thus becoming involved in a mad quest for power that could threaten the very Gods.

I've been a long time lurker. Though I write occasionally (and mostly fanfiction), I rarely if ever show my work to others. But the present writing contest seems like as good a chance as any to break the habit, so to say.
However much you read, however much I actually manage to write, and whether you love it or hate it, thank you so much for giving my story a chance.
Edit (29/09/2025):
I did it. Over 50,000 words, right in the nick of time. Nice.
I realized halfway through that the full breadth of what I had planned would take far more than 2 months and a maximum of 80,000 words to write. I can only hope that closing the arc counts enough as a "satisfying conclusion".
Updates will halt during the competition period, naturally, but once that's done I may get back to this story with a more relaxed update schedule. Maybe. No promises.
I need a rest.
