Kawamura Nagi, 16 years old, stands atop a skyscraper in the heart of Tokyo. A cigar burns quietly between his fingers as he takes one last look at the city's endless lights, the same city that left him alone, unseen, and unmissed.
He steps forward without hesitation.
The wind roars. The world blurs. Finally... it ends.
But just as the pavement rushes up to meet him, everything stops. Time itself freezes.
A voice, calm, unfamiliar, yet impossibly close, echoes in the silence.
It tells Nagi to go to another world.
The night city faded into white, like paper burning in reverse.
When Nagi opens his eyes, the city is gone. He is still falling. Only now, through an endless sky into a world he has never seen before.
He crashes into a quiet village. Bones should break. Breath should stop. But he doesn't die.
And for the first time, Nagi realizes… death has abandoned him.
Hi everyone, thank you for reading my story! This world and these characters have been in my head for a long time, and I'm excited to finally share them with you. I hope you enjoy Nagi and the rest of the cast as much as I loved writing them. Your support means everything. Feel free to leave feedback, theories, or just your favorite moments!
