In the Year 305 of the Neorian calendar, tensions are rising on the Continent. The three Great Empires build up their military might, and the smaller nations follow suit.
In the Halfsberg Kingdom, King Faust Halfsberg has passed away, increasing uncertainty in the continent. Following the Kingdom's traditions, each willing candidate in line for sucession must present themselves before the Council of Elders, in order for a ruler to be decided. Alphonse Halfsberg has no desire do compete for the throne thus devoting himself to the Kingdom while removing himself from sucession. His selfless dedication towards these dark times and has earned him a great deal of popularity among the common people in the countryside.
