The world is shattered — broken lands drift above a glowing core while RUIN, a merciless force of science and conquest, twists people into weapons and monsters. Far from the cities, Ash, a warrior marked by inhuman cracks of gold, tries to protect a fragile peace with his wife Iris and their daughter Arcea, a child of monstrous strength. But when abductions and abominations spread, Ash is forced into a fight against failed experiments, traitorous nobles, and the shadows of his past. As Arcea begins to awaken to the burden of her power, father and daughter are drawn into a battle for survival in a world where every choice comes with blood — and every fate can be altered.
This is my first novel, so bear with me.
It originally started as an RPG game I was developing in RPG Maker, but I decided to turn it into a novel instead. The good news is that I already have the complete story planned out, along with concept art for every character, and multiple drafts written in different forms.
Rewriting the story into novel format shouldn’t be too difficult — the real challenge is working on it while managing my 80-hour work week at my regular job. Because of that, chapter releases will likely be irregular.
