The three goddesses of Glynn's World have a wager. Whoever summons the hero that defeats the Great Devil and saves Glynn's World from corruption will be made Supreme Goddess. Rani has twenty-four heroes at her disposal. Elbeth has summoned thirty. Marine? She has one hero, and in reality, it's more like half of one.
Dige has several advantages over others, namely dwarven strength and a knack for forging, but he's also loud, stubborn, barbaric, single-minded, smelly, repulsive to humans, and worst of all, has zero knowledge about the world and its fantasy RPG mechanics. If left to his own devices, he wouldn't participate in the wager at all, but a black coated swordsman, Akira Kasuga, puts the dwarf on the path to greatness by killing him, placing him in Dige's book of grudges.
With a second death underneath him, Dige sets out on a quest to kill Akira Kasuga. Whether that leads him to killing the Great Devil, who's to say? But it means that Marine isn't out of the game just yet.
This is my entry for the ISEKAI Presented by Kadokawa contest. I hope you all like Dwarves.
