All the right elements for a successful Isekai is embodied on this novel.
Strong selfless MC in Elias
A group of supporting characters that are worth cheering for.
Bard the one the picks up the energy
Cecile the fearless one
(Tavian is ok)
And most importantly, Fawks. *Cries*
The travelling and dragon business was a good way to expand on the world and immerse us in a totally new fantastical world, but the spawning of the enemy at the end is kinda out of the blue for me. Then again I probably just missed the signs.
I love that Elias won fairly. (I know it was bittersweet but I think it was just right, now that I’ve stopped being upset over it). Overall this is a perfect light novel. Just decently paced enough and decently sized enough for a good siting and reading. There is lesson to be learned and its worth your time.
