Too Cool For You!

Reincarnation Royale is one of a few stories I’ve read where there is too much cool stuff going on!
There are so many interesting, captivating, and unique ideas in it that I couldn’t stop reading it for fear of missing out on another jewel of a concept (more on that later).
The characters are fun to read, and Razan as the lead was a good choice. His motto and determination to do the right thing were refreshing.
Grace was interesting as well, and she was compelling from the first chapter she appeared in. Her affection for Razan was cute, and the whole ‘doomed’ aspect of it was neat!
Elowyn was good. She reminded me of Frieren in a way, but her self-confidence and egotism were funny and well done. Her own tragedy was sad too.
Brent was the best character, no diff.
The concept of a battle royale happening every 50 years and messing up the whole world is so cool that I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into the story and eat it whole!
I would recommend ‘Reincarnation Royale’ to anyone looking for an action-packed story with fun characters and a thoughtful magic system!

So… Why Only 3 Stars? (Heavy Spoilers Ahead!)
There’s too much that happens! Nearly every chapter has a new revelation hit the characters, and each revelation is deserving of its own mini-series or arc, but then the idea is swept away as a new one comes to replace it.
For example, the main party goes to meet the dwarves and get an alliance to defeat Maxwell; but then instead of that panning out, the dwarves betray them and imprison Razan; but then Tetsuo helps Grace and Elowyn save him; but then Maxwell shows up in the Dwarf Kingdom to execute Razan, so they make a plan to free Razan and kill Maxwell; but then the plan goes wrong and Razan fights Tetsuo; and then they travel through time…
You get the picture.
It was hard for me to become deeply invested in the story when every cool idea was immediately replaced by another cool idea.

Of course, I encourage you to read the story and form your own opinions!
