In a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is on the brink of extinction, The Girl is trying her best to live as normal of a school life as possible while waiting for the Ley Lines to restore the world to its former glory. Unfortunately, her poor memory—on top of a slurry of nightmares—afflicts her day to day life, especially her relationships with her friends. Most importantly: she keeps on failing to uphold their promises. On the day that she swears to never forget again, she falls asleep in hopes of seeing the world's revival.

When she reawakens as a blind girl in an unfamiliar world where memories are everything, however, the past is all that she can cling to—and as the clock ticks at the end of the horizon, she’ll learn what it means to hold the weight of those who have been forgotten.

The Ley Lines promised them peace, and peace they shall find once they realize what it is that they have lost.
