An adult Japanese man, Seiji Sekiguchi, was devastated by life.

One rainy evening, he made his way to the rooftop of a building to commit suicide, but unexpectedly, on his way up, he encounters a man who apparently wants to kill him.

Prepared for certain death, Seiji decides to entrust his fate to destiny, but then... with blade of the knife, being a few centimeters from Seiji's heart... the would-be killer collapses like a weakling.

Hearing the man's stomach growl with hunger - and despite his fragile state, his stubborn desire to kill - Seiji decides to take him home.
He brings him to his apartment, planning to let him recover... and then finish what he started.

But as the days go by, Seiji begins to see that this man, broken and violent as he is, might not have been born a killer.

Maybe there's still a way back for him.

Maybe Seiji can stop the darkness from swallowing him whole.

He just doesn't know yet what that decision will cost.
