Following the events of StarSpace 2, 17-year-old Cherry Brooks is growing up unable to handle her friend Ararima Haniki being missing or possibly dead after escaping Candiere’s Cafe.

Determined to search for answers, she returns back to Tartropolatte, meeting old and new friends alike only to learn that the world has been invaded by a sentient virus entity named Emperor Frightware that has been trapping souls into horrifying crystallized kingdoms that lock minds within corrupted realities.

With many worlds at stake of becoming infected, Cherry decides to group with Princess Candiere, a few of her dedicated staff, and some newcomers to go on a highly dangerous adventure past the walls of the cafe. Will Cherry and her friends finally free everyone that has been captured, or end up getting tangled in the schemes of its horrifying mastermind?
