Misa is one day transported to a new world, a new kingdom full of vampires. Here she is to be wed to the Ran The prince of the vampires as the prophecy foretells. With all vampire stories the mystical and foreboding nature of vampires and their kingdom is immediately apparent. Also, the politics of the kingdom and their relations with the surrounding nations is intriguing in the early chapters.
Misa is a relatable former school teacher with a bit of contempt for her new situation at first. She's a tad sassy and snarky which pairs well with Prince Ran who is more standoffish, proper, and almost a tsundere. Their interactions are always fun to read. Watching them get closer is a big payoff. Their feelings (especially the prince's) come about slowly, which is nice.
The conflict with the other humanoid species is interesting but worldbuilding around that part can be a little lacking at times. The ending also leaves a bit to be desired. But if you like Vampire stories, romance, and fantasy you will not be disappointed. Give this one a go!
