After being expelled from school, he sacrifices himself to save a girl trapped on a collapsing frozen lake.

He wakes up in a fantasy world called *Anfang*, where he’s taken in by a powerful mage known as the *Dragon Sage*. For four years, Yagurei trains under him—until the sage mysteriously vanishes.

Now known as *Hisamaru*, he inherits his master’s name, power, and duties. With a new threat looming over Anfang, Hisamaru must protect the realm and uphold the fragile balance between worlds.
