Akagi Haruka doesn’t know a single thing about fantasy, video games or magic, and has no interest in learning about anything geeky. She’s blessed with plenty of normalities; a stable job, a decent apartment, a loyal cat, and novels – about the real world, thank you very much – for her to enjoy.

But when a night of drinking after a tough day of work has her waking up in a torchlit tomb, with an actual elf staring at her, she can't blame a hangover when faced with the truth: she’s ended up in a fantastical new world, with no idea what’s going on.

To make matters worse, the denizens of this new place are claiming that she’s Eluin, the long-dead heroine of Tor Reuna, slayer of the Demon Prince Lugaz half a millennium ago.

But Lugaz’s forces are coming out of their five-century slumber. War is on the horizon once again, and there is only one person who can destroy the Prince for good this time – her.

Yeah… no. That’s not happening. Not if Haruka has anything to say about it.
