Synopsis

Most people would panic if the world suddenly became a dungeon. Joseph doesn’t. He’s spent his life wandering the line between dream and waking, and when monsters and stone walls rise around him, he steps forward as if he’d been waiting for it. Survival becomes exploration: tinkering, testing, learning what breaks and what holds.

His methods are unorthodox—scavenging, traps, experiments with weapons and magic—yet they carry him further than anyone expects. For Joseph, it’s not glory or heroism, but the thrill of the game before he finally “wakes up.”

Along the way he meets Tokko, a young girl who becomes his companion. Their bond is forged in trust and sacrifice, each step demanding more than either imagined.

Meanwhile, Han, scarred by failures in a past life, is determined to rewrite destiny. His path collides with Joseph’s in ways neither can foresee. Are they allies, rivals—or both? When dream and reality blur, how do you tell one from the other?

My goal is to capture the mix of strategy, character growth, and survival pressure that drew me to isekai stories in the first place. I hope you enjoy the journey, and I’d love to hear your thoughts along the way.
