Theo Miller was once a security consultant in New York City—until a family debt came out of nowhere, forged with his signature. He refused to pay the unreasonable demand or to work for criminals. He was slandered, blackmailed, and blacklisted. Now homeless and hunted, Theo survives by moving between abandoned buildings. He set up 'gamer rooms' and streamed videos, earning the title “The Homeless Gamer.”

His luck finally caught up with him, and he was tracked down. But Theo didn't like the idea of working for criminals, and in one last act of defiance, jumped off the building. Lightning struck him, and he awakened in a land of eternal rain. A status screen appeared: "You Are The Rain Wizard". He didn't have long to realize this world was crawling with eyeless monsters known as The Eyeless. After being rescued by a young knight named Leo, he brought to Sphere City, a kingdom protected by a dome with artificial sunlight. The Rain Wizard must end the threat and bring back the sunshine.
