A Story That Will Transport You

Not being a player of 'Hollow Knight' at first and not knowing much about it, I was introduced to this kind of universe through this novel.

The worldbuilding carries you along with the characters, letting you witness and imagine fascinating and creative places.

As for the characters, I have to say that Saif (the MC) is absolutely lovable. He does a lot of cute things but can also be serious when the situation demands it. He’s an endearing character, and your affection for him grows steadily throughout the story.

The side characters are also very engaging, each with their own unique personality. They support and care for Saif, and their interactions with him feel natural and meaningful, making them easy to become attached to.

The story itself is enjoyable, with video game-inspired elements (which I loved), and it follows Saif’s adventure and his encounters with all these characters that make the story go forward. I really enjoyed it and was satisfied with the resolution at the end—hoping for more to come!

Now, why 4 stars? The only weak point for me is that I sometimes felt it would have been better to highlight the transitions between places or events more clearly so as not to get lost about where the characters were or what had happened. This mainly affected me in the first chapters, before I got the hang of how the world worked. Don't rely too much on my criticism and read the novel for yourself, everyone has a different opinion!

Overall, it’s a great novel that I hope to see more of in the future, and I’d recommend it to everyone—especially if you’re a fan of the 'Hollow Knight' universe. Keep up the good work, Jane!
