A no-name corporate engineer gets whisked off to his long dreamt-of isekai world! There he makes contact with the first year student of the Widrow Magic Academy and eldest daughter of the Lumiere family: Julie Lumiere, who was on a detachment to a small, innocuous village in her domains for a secret mission. Our main character, having adopted the name Alfonse, seizes the opportunity to learn some magic and immediately begins to use the analytical skills he had developed in his old life to conjure strange and powerful magic to aid Julie in her quest. Bound by nothing but the need to make cool things and have fun, Alfonse sets out to join the Magic Academy and further his understanding of magic so that he can fulfill his childhood dream of making hella cool radical spells (and also upset this worlds technological balance with outrageous invention after outrageous invention).
