Comedically Sweet

It’s only 11 chapters, so you can literally binge it in one study break. 📚🚫

The main character, Melodette, is honestly such a mood. She’s the only non-magical person in this super powerful family of spiritual exorcists (the Verexa clan), so she’s basically doing all the chores while everyone else is casting spells. Relatable, right? But then she gets stuck with this "task" of watching over this supernatural guy who is supposed to be dangerous. The rule is simple: Keep the talisman on his forehead.

But guess what? It. Keeps. Falling. Off. 💀

And the guy? Oh my god. He is NOT some scary monster. He is a total simp for her and it is adorable. 🥺 There’s this one scene where he gets all moody and his aura flares up because he thinks Melodette doesn't want him around, but she’s just panicked about the talisman falling off! When she finally yells that she wants him safe, the way he melts? Green flag energy right there. 🚩💚

The comedy is top-tier. Melodette is freaking out, thinking she’s doomed, while her whole family is just like, "Yeah, he’s chill, let’s keep him." The ending is so sweet it gave me a cavity. "Doomed together"—I died.

If you love the "monster boyfriend" trope but make it wholesome and hilarious, you have to read this. It’s a solid 5/5 stars from me. Go read it right now so we can fangirl about the "gopher" boy together! ✨👻
