Every media outlet in Japan is running the same story.
"Trillion-yen CEO publicly executed by rogue Magical Girl."
The magical girl in question is Kaitou Tokiko, an ex-cyber-samurai who turned her back on the system she had worked for and has since dedicated all of her time and effort to raising the burden of poverty. And punishing those who uphold it.

After a deadly fight with another magical girl, however, Tokiko finds she must shift her approach. Her infamy makes her a target, and revolution can't be brought about by those who are cold in the dirt.

It's one girl and her cat against all of Japan.
