Okay, so can we talk about Eclipse? Because I am actually unwell after finishing this. I went into it thinking, "Oh, another idol romance, cute," but I was NOT prepared for the emotional rollercoaster Eren Cranel put us through.

First of all, the title is long as heck, but it’s literally the perfect summary. The whole vibe of Ren (the "Ice Prince," excuse me while I swoon) having this forgotten past that haunts him while Mio is just trying to survive her exhausting life? It’s giving major "destined lovers" energy. Mio is such a mood, honestly. She’s shy and has zero self-esteem at the start, which I felt in my soul, but watching her grow and handle the chaos of Ren’s world was so satisfying.

The plot is supreme slow-burn torture in the best way. The way they meet -super clumsy and awkward - was hilarious, but then it gets deep really fast. The fact that Ren feels this pull towards her but literally *can't remember* why? It had me screaming at my phone. "IT'S HER, REN! SHE'S THE ONE!" There were moments in the middle chapters, especially around the "Letter with a Star" part, where I was genuinely tearing up. It was so frustrating but romantic.

The suspense isn't like "murder mystery" scary, but the drama with the idol industry and his "golden cage" life kept me stressed. You just know something bad is going to happen to separate them. The climax? OH MY GOD. I won't spoil the exact details, but when the memories started clashing with his reality? I was on the floor. It was so intense and emotional.

The ending wrapped things up in a way that felt earned. It wasn't just a magical "poof, I remember everything" instant fix; it felt like his heart actually did the work, just like the title said.

If you love angsty romance where the guy is a total green flag (minus the memory loss lol) and the girl finds her shine, you need to read this. Ignore the raw formatting, just focus on the feels. 4.67/5, would erase my memory just to read it for the first time again.
