[Urban Fantasy] Hello to anyone who finds themselves interested in my story! This is my first ever time using Honeyfeed, and my first time entering into any official writing competition, I'm still enthused nonetheless! I hope you all find yourselves enjoying my creation.

When I first entered this competition, I made the idiotic mistake of not fully reading the terms and conditions. It was only midway through writing this story that I realized I couldn't simply end this entry on a cliff-hanger. So while the ending I've decided on partially develops the existing characters and handles the immediate conflict, this is no way the end. I still have so much planned for this universe. I thank anyone who has taken the time out of their day to read my story, and do realize that my continuation of this universe is in no way contingent on me winning the competition. Thank you!
