Mikazuki Kuya is a social outcast, fully believing the concept that ‘a nail that sticks out, gets hammered.’ Spending his ordinary days sitting in a corner of the classroom, he resigns himself to drifting through high school obscured, much like the world's magical history.

But when he accidentally encounters mage descendant, Amanagi Mana, practicing magic in the courtyard behind the school building, It becomes the precursor for Kuya's life to take a more fantastical turn, as his own mystery unfolds, turning his ordinary days not so ordinary.
