For those of you who know me, you'll probably be aware of two things - firstly, that I write a lot of fluff, and secondly, that I love to read fluff. And this story right here is the epitome of fluff.

I don't even know where to start. I loved every moment of it. Aoi (Neko-chan) and Yoheu (RYO) are possibly the best matched characters I've seen this contest. Awkward, probably terrified, yet so genuine in their emotions. Is their relationship realistic? I don't know. And I don't care. It's beautiful, and that's more than enough for me.

The thing I love with romance stories like this is how the character's love for each other acts as an anchor. Nearly all my own stories feature this in some way, and it's done in this story brilliantly. Sure, neither of them are perfect, and sure, they're not so in love that they don't hurt each other, but despite everything that happens they always come back.

And goodness they're cute. Just go through the story and check my comments. I'm not sure who was more in love, the characters or me whenever they did something adorable. And that's what I love the most - there's a very good balance of suffering and fluff. Pretty much just to my liking.

I've mostly yapped about fluff rather than the actual story, but that's just who I am. So anyway, if you've read this review all the way through, I think it's time you give When RYO Met Neko-chan a try ❤️😇
