An endless, immortal life plagues Vanessa who desperately seeks to end her existence. Her history is an ancient secret, sought after by three colossal powers. The zealots of the Religious Faction, the calculating Royal Court, and the legendary Sol Academy. The threads of her forgotten past are dangerously woven into the fabric of the universe that surrounds her, an amalgamation of knots waiting to be undone, when Silver, a master of forbidden death magic, is sent to assassinate the immortal. Instead, he becomes her reluctant protector and the only person capable of granting the temporary oblivion she craves. Hunted relentlessly for various reasons, Vanessa must trust the man tasked with her murder, on a path towards a destiny greater than death, to finally claim the peace she was denied centuries ago.
Disclaimer: This novel is not for the faint of heart.
Info: The prologue is inspired from a real love letter written by a girl who felt her writing was bad. When I started writing this story, I never thought I would become so attached to the cast. Not having the surprise factor and still crying every time I read certain parts from the final chapters, elevated the writing experience for me substantially. During the writing period, I also experienced some very dark times which might have bled into the narrative and could be a reason for my emotional attachment with certain characters. Overall, it was an honour from start to finish to produce this story for you and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it. I would like to a give special thanks to Prasansha for inspiring me to write the first chapter and Darky for constantly proofreading and giving me the motivation I needed to keep going. This project would not have been possible without her support.
