Ayame Tanaka is your typical high schooler and an intern at the Susaki Journal newspaper. She's been assigned to a team investigating the mysterious disappearances of people all over Japan. After saving a strange talking puppy from being hit by a truck, Ayame discovers that she can transform into a magical girl!

With her newfound powers based on the iris flower, Ayame must work with her new talking puppy friend, Aichi, in order to defeat monsters and the mysterious Covens that create them. That is, if she can handle the responsibility without stumbling and bumbling around.
