Eclipse Veins
In the empire of Ignis, light decides destiny. Nobles with golden veins live under a mechanical sun called Ignis, while red-veined Shades toil in the shadows. Kageru Akihiro, a fiery Shade, once dreamed of changing the world with his noble friend Souta Kagemori. Years later, Souta serves the god that oppresses them, and Kageru is branded a heretic. When he uncovers the truth—that Ignis is no god but a machine powered by human hearts—Kageru wages a rebellion to free humanity. In the end, the only way to stop Ignis is to sacrifice his own heart. The false sun dies, the world is reborn, and history hails Souta as the savior who killed the heretic. Only he knows the truth: Kageru’s heart became the light of a new dawn.
