Fukuoka, Japan. The year is 2043. After the January 19, 2038 incident a mysterious phenomenon classified as "technomagic" appeared to this world. Soon after the phenomenon was studied and analyzed and the use of technomagic was prohibited by law due to potential dangers to public security and health.

Yukino Rei, an a agent of a special Technomagic Prevention Department within the Japanese police, is assigned to infiltrate a local music community in Fukuoka because of serious suspicions of technomagic abuse.
