The second-chance romance that literally healed my trust issues!

Rating: 4.88 out of 5

I honestly picked this up thinking it would be just another generic "time travel to fix mistakes" story, but Replay Again absolutely destroyed me in the best way possible. The way it starts is so painful? Yuki Harada and Ren Aoki signing divorce papers after being high school sweethearts? I was literally screaming at my phone, "NO, JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER!" It felt so real and frustrating because you could see they still loved each other but were just too proud and broken to admit it.

But then, the "replay" happens. Waking up back in their high school bodies right after the divorce was such a trippy concept. I loved that it wasn't just one of them; they *both* remembered. That dynamic changed everything! Instead of one person trying to manipulate the future, you have two hurt people awkwardly trying to navigate their past selves while dealing with all that adult baggage. The tension in the early chapters when they see each other in class again? Electric.

The "misunderstanding" that ruined them in the first timeline was revealed slowly, and when it finally clicked, I was so mad but also heartbroken. It shows how one little secret can snowball into a disaster. Watching them actively try to communicate this time around was the most satisfying character development ever. Ren trying to be a better boyfriend knowing what he lost? total green flag energy.

There were moments, specifically in the middle arc where they almost fell into their old toxic patterns, that had me stressed. I was scared they were just going to repeat the cycle. But the climax of the story, where they finally confront the root of their issues instead of running away, was so beautiful. It wasn't just about fixing the timeline; it was about fixing themselves.

If you love stories about soulmates finding their way back to each other and fixing their past regrets, you have to read this. 4.88/5 because I am a sucker for a happy ending!
