Kenji Sato looks like your typical, average high school student—he gets middle-of-the-road grades, blends into the background, and just wants a quiet life. However, he hides a massive secret: he is actually "Twilight-Senpai," the anonymous, world-famous author and illustrator whose works have captivated millions.

Kenji’s plan to stay invisible fails spectacularly when he crosses paths with three of Japan’s most famous teenagers: Aoi, a top idol; Hina, a popular fashion model; and Rei, a celebrated actress.

Unknown to the public, these glamorous girls are secretly hardcore otakus obsessed with Twilight-Senpai’s work. Through a series of hilarious accidents and close calls, they begin to fall for the "boring" Kenji, completely unaware that he is the very creator they worship. With his protective sister Aiko and oblivious best friend Yoshi adding to the chaos, Kenji must navigate a romantic battlefield where he accidentally inspires the very girls who inspire the world.
