Drafters are humans who have contracted with spirits to gain abnormal abilities but they must comply with the rules of the contract that both parties agree on. Except for Isa Izanami, who is an unfortunate girl that was forced into a contract with a black spirit who stumbled upon her unconscious body in a dark alleyway away from the streets of Tokyo.

After a few quarrels with her contracted spirit and experiences with spirits alike, she joins a group of Drafters called The Restorers. They not only send lost spirits back to where they're supposed to be: The Original Place, but are also protectors, fighting those who go against Drafters.
