Following the chess club's success at the Knightlife Classic tournament in Mito, everyone returns triumphantly back to Kawaguchi, with Mimoko reaping the most rewards. Now an instant grandmaster and star of the chess world, she decides to accept Himitsudono's challenge of seeking out and defeating Japan's secret chess maestro, maestro Himitsu. However, lurking in the darkness lies a nasty conspiracy seeking to completely upend Mimoko's life. Will the chess club triumph once more, or will the Desperados checkmate them?
Volume 2 of EPGM. Unlike the first volume which is nearly identical to its Season 1 equivalent in the original EPGM, this volume will feature some notable differences. Season's 2 and 3 of the original will be combined, though you won't be seeing too many changes with the Season 2 portion. Rather, it'll be the Season 3 portion where I make some changes. That being said, the core story will remain the same.
