Matoko is a warrior who is part of the mercenary group, the Bronze Lions, under the leadership of the renowned Takato. In the midst of their investigation into a mysterious cult connected to otherworldly entities, a popular and powerful local lord calls upon the Bronze Lions to cull a mysterious otherworldly monster that is ravaging part of his lands.
The chain of events that follow that night would change the Faorian Isles forever.

This takes part in one part of the world that is inspired by Japanese culture and the shinto religion, with a little celtic mythology, in a world that has three forms of magic and industrial-age inspired technology.
As the beginnings of stories is my weakest skill, I will likely review and rewrite the first three chapters a few times. Especially as I make small changes to the Faorian culture.
