Mel and Nina are good contrasts to each other and this is shown every skilfully through Mara’s weaving of the two worlds.

I wouldn’t call it slow burn (as Nato said) as the story takes place over the matter of days leading to the event and the event itself, but I’d like to see more of the interactions in the future (then it can be slow burn)

I wish this one got over 25k. I found myself flicking through the pages like a hungry wolf ngl. I really did enjoy this a lot.
