Ren Akiya, a seventeen-year-old high school student who suffers from eighth-grade syndrome, though he firmly denies it, decides to join the acting club, only to discover that it had long been shut down, explained by the club’s enigmatic former president, Ice Queen Hoshizora.

Despite her icy demeanor, and a little gentle coercion, Ren decides to help her revive the club, partly because she half-forced him to, and partly because he fell in love with her the first time he saw her.

The two embark on a “quest” to rebuild the club from scratch, drafting new members. The club begins to earn a strange reputation among the students.
