When Isaac arrives in Bluefalls City after winning a lottery to attend Lake Heights Academy, it seems like nothing more than a fresh start—a quiet move to a new place, a new school, and a new routine.

To settle in, Isaac joins the Photography Club, where he meets its charismatic leader, Andra P. Jay. She’s sharp, eccentric, and drawn to the unseen—urban myths, and the hidden life. During one late meeting, Andra shares a chilling rumor: a monster said to stalk the city’s abandoned subway, the same one the Bluefall Restoration Service (BFRS) closed after a string of unexplained disappearances.

Intrigued—and perhaps a little reckless—Andra persuades Isaac to help her investigate. She finds a concealed access tunnel she’s kept hidden, a forgotten route leading straight into the old subway system. At midnight, beneath the quiet hum of rain, they slip out of the dorms and disappear into the dark.

Unbeknownst to them, this marks the first tremors of something that should not exist.
