I know I know it is clearly a story about more than just acceptance. It is an amazing story, especially for those interested in character depth and development.
The story deals with themes of love, found family and the consequences of war while moving towards a better future.

Furi was a great mc. Exploring the post-war world with her was compelling, easy to follow and an witty. As an ex solider, she had an understandable hatred for peace and stinkers. But overtime the change she goes through is the core asset of the story.

Mai'ri, a good contrast to furi, with similar experiences yet a calmer sense of sense. She is a perfect person who can change someone like furi.
Anri remains as a cute character that makes you fall in love with her. She is the sole reason why both furi and mai'ri end up together.

Story deals with many interesting concepts like tau and the way humans learn to use it. The limit of it and furi's hatred for it.
The story conveys love can bring peace to anyone.

It was a pity that the story ended too early. I wanted to see more of this world and the couple.
