In a world with only one massive land mass, at the center of this massive landmass is a giant hole like a cavern. This cavern is filled with magical items and materials and entities that roam it looking for their next meal. Humans and other creatures from the surface are called to the Cavern. Some for money, some for glory, some are called to it as if it whispers in their ears.

Silas wishes to be an adventurer. The Cavern beneath his feet calls to him however due to the obligation of ensuring his sick younger brother is taken care of he only has barely scratched the surface of what lays beneath.

This all changes when the fates create an opportunity for him. In order to gain the ability to travel further and ensure his brother's safety and possibly a cure he must trust in an organization that appears to have ulterior motives for involving his new found powers.
