In a world with only one massive land mass, at the center of this massive landmass is a giant hole like a cavern. This cavern is filled with magical items and materials and entities that roam it looking for their next meal. Humans and other creatures from the surface are called to the Cavern. Some for money, some for glory, some are called to it as if it whispers in their ears.

One young man enters the cavern despite the risks to provide for his brother. Without the money gathered from his adventures his brother's illness will quickly take him. Though his reasons for risking his life may be out of love he too is called to the cavern as if it whispers and hints to him that there is more to his life than what he believes, just waiting for him to uncover the truths of blood and steel.

Soon enough the events set forth well beyond his time will bring him closer to the truth of everything hidden from him.
