Synopsis

Alaska was a frozen wilderness stretching from end to end. There, several tribes lived and struggled against a realm of silence, cold, and hidden dangers. Yet the arrival of Japanese forces invading the Aleutian Islands shattered a quiet that had endured for thousands of years.

On that day, for the first time, iron birds crossed freely above their homeland.

Amaru, a young Inuit hunter burdened by forgotten wounds of the past and the mysterious claw mark on his calf, was the only one who remained doubtful. To him, they had come as new greedy hunters would never stop.

The Aleutians would not be enough. Sooner or later, his sacred birthplace and the people he cherished would become trophies for them.

Defying the elders, armed with a new weapon granted by the yellow haired race, Amaru advanced alone. Yet upon that unfamiliar battlefield, the ancient instinct within him began to stir. There was a power older than the ice itself watching over him.
