Synopsis

Kiryu Masuda, a war veteran who was once cast aside to preserve the nation’s image, is summoned back—not to fight, but to train an elite young unit composed of the children of nobles and high-ranking officials who will be sent to the frontline against Monsters.

Armed with bitter experience and a truth long buried by the state, Kiryu realizes that his duty is not merely to teach them how to fight, but to break the cycle of sacrifice repeatedly enforced by the very system that once destroyed his life.

Caught between the looming threat of Monsters and relentless political pressure, Kiryu must choose: become a tool of the state once more, or risk everything to save his trainees from the same fate that once shattered him.

Thank you for reading Zero Zone Horizon: New Frontline.

This story began with a simple idea: wars look clean on reports, but never on the battlefield. Kiryu Masuda is not a hero chasing glory—he is a veteran tasked with training young soldiers who were never meant to fight, only to represent hope.

There are Monsters, there is war, and there are “successful missions.”
Some of them should probably never be called successful.

If you enjoy the story, please leave a comment, give it a like, and feel free to share your thoughts or criticisms. And if you want to follow the journey to the end of the frontline, don’t forget to follow.
