When a foreign agent attempts to stir up trouble our hero Hikari must escort him back to his native land on the other side of the world. Thus begins an adventure that will expose our dutiful protagonist to every other way there is to live in his fantastic world.

Inspired by the writings of Ando Shoeki along with travel logs such On The Road, Blue Highways, and Travels With Charlie, and smattering of adventure fantasy such as The Hobbit and Conan the Barbarian. Cultivation of Freedom aims to be a philosophical fantasy travel log.
