Synopsis

In Shikoku, a farmer's son is making a name for himself.
Armed with but a sickle, he defeats all kinds of magic beasts to protect humanity.
At least... that's what everyone thinks.
To be honest Francis could care less about saving humanity, he just fights those magic beasts to get closer to his dream of being a magician!
There is just one small problem...
Because of past strife with the tribe of dark elves, exiled from Kyushu, the first emperor of Lionhead enacted a law that states anyone within the empire using magic will be seen as elves or traitors and persecuted as such.

Note from author

Hiya everyone, Iseee here!
First of all, I hope you enjoyed the story so far. This is my first-ish story, so please give me some constructive feedback if you can. Hopefully with your help I can learn and make this and any future stories I write, that much better!

I'm saying first-ish because technically I am also writing a (currently unpublished) story about anthropomorph ants.
When I saw this [Urban Fantasy] contest I wanted to join, but I didn't want to half-ass it and start migrating my ants to Japan to fit the criteria. (also I think "ANThropomorph" will need quite a few volumes before I reach a satisfying ending)
To finish in time for the contest I'll need to write almost 2 chapters a day, so wish me luck!
