Tarina, once part of a tribe of storytellers, finds herself orphaned after the kingdom of Zeraphina orders the massacre of her people. She and her mother escaped the tragedy, but the king continued to search for the storytellers or anyone from their tribe. Now a seamstress in a peaceful harbor, Tarina thought her nightmare was over...until a battalion of royal guards made their way to Wavecrest Harbor and took a boy away from his mother. Fed up with the injustice, Tarina moved to the capital city of Xenia and joined the resistance. But her encounter with the prince of Zeraphina conflicted with her goals of dethroning the current king. Will she go through with it? Or will she succumb to the flames?
