As is known, Earth was dominated by an intelligent species called Homo sapiens, or, in everyday language, humans. Human imagination had given rise to a parallel universe of their world, one where divine beings such as Angels, Dominions, and Demons reigned supreme.

Unlike Earth, this world was divided into two main parts: the island of Ladnoria, where the divine nations coexisted, and the supercontinent of Zagros, where the mortal nations dwelled.
