Synopsis

When Setsuka awakens in a white void with no memory of her past, she believes she has won a miracle: a world of her own creation. As centuries pass inside her fabricated reality, she slowly uncovers unsettling truths—she does not age, death is reversible, and the world obeys hidden rules tied to ancient devices and forbidden powers. Beyond her sanctuary lurks the Purple Cosmo, beings who seek to “redeem” life through control and brainwashing. To protect her world and the memories she was never meant to remember, Setsuka must face the truth behind her creation, her sister’s sacrifice, and the cost of fabricating happiness itself.

Note from author

This story explores fabricated worlds, artificial salvation, and the quiet cruelty of good intentions. It is about memory, loss, and the danger of forcing perfection onto life. Monsters are not hunted here—they are created.

This novel is still unfinished and remains a condensed draft. Many plot points are inconsistent and will be revised. I plan to expand the story by adding more characters and first-person perspectives, allowing readers to hear the characters’ thoughts and voices directly instead of experiencing the story only through a distant third-person observer.
