I really enjoyed this. The setting and main character were just things I automatically felt exciting and engaging to read because of my genre preferences. The style stood out in its register and quality and was well-carried by three different authors; though the grammar was a bit off in chapter 1, and things could have been described with a bit more detail and skill.
It being character-centric on a compelling (and evil!) lead meant it was engaging and fun to follow throughout, and to see his evolution as he got worse and worse. The ending was really intense in just the right way for the character’s arc, full of pathos and coming full-circle nicely. Overall, I think it was a really good story and gets a full 5 stars from me.
