This story definitely nails the horror aspect. It has both good gore and a strong feeling of unsettling creepiness. I don't want to spoil any of it; if you want to get spooked, this is definitely a good place to go.
As said in the description, this is a three-chapter story where each chapter was written by a different person. The second and third chapters had better prose than the first, but the first put down some interesting thematic ideas that I wish were a little more explored. Additionally, within the chapters (especially the first), the narrator's choice of words and accent was somewhat inconsistent. The fairy queen felt a bit random, especially at her introduction in Chapter 2, but incorporating something incongruous like that is a real challenge, and I feel like Chapter 3 integrated her quite well.
The story could have benefited from more editing and cohesion, but overall, it's a very solid short horror story with an interesting setting that will send tingles up the spine of anyone.
