After the passing of his mother, Alex loses all sense of direction. His days blur together until a strange girl knocks on his door.

She tells him that mysterious creatures have begun appearing from another world, one that no one is even sure exists. Though skeptical at first, Alex soon becomes convinced that these beings truly come from a place long dismissed as myth.

Determined to fulfill his mother’s final wish—to have her ashes returned to her homeland—Alex sets out to find the World Above, unaware of what awaits him beyond his own world.
