Synopsis

The Has Been’s is a dark, literary fantasy about forgotten characters from classic stories who find themselves cast into a fractured dimension after a cosmic force known as The Abyss begins consuming narratives themselves. The Abyss does not destroy worlds physically—it devours stories, identities, and meaning, leaving behind spectral remnants known as the “Has Been’s.”
In this liminal, collapsing reality—a chaotic cityscape stitched together from broken literary worlds—figures such as a twisted Phantom (Raoul), a wrathful Headless Horsewoman (Katrina), an unraveling Invisible scientist, a decaying Dorian Gray, and a resilient Quasimodo awaken to the horrifying truth: they are no longer protagonists of their own tales, but survivors of narrative erasure.
Each character grapples with corruption, loss, vanity, regret, and existential dread. Some seek vengeance. Some seek escape. Others fear the total oblivion the Abyss promises.
