Philosopher — people who can manipulate the world around them using knowledge from either scientific or magical sources. Nexus is a world where science and logic is the dominant doctrine. Gaia is a world where magic and faith is cultivated above all else. What happens, then, when Philosophers from both worlds collide? Atago Chiharu, a college student in Neo Tokyo, suddenly meets a mysterious girl named Kaga no Kanon who uses powers unlike anything he had ever seen before. Kanon and Chiharu team up to battle evil Sorcerers, mad Psions, and a whole host of other colorful figures with their own agendas concerning the two worlds.
