Ori is a simple young man who, like many, spends most of his life in extraordinary worlds. Fictional universes are his refuge, and one character in particular has become the centre of his emotional world. Whether this character is an escape or a way to process emotions he can't explain in words, he's built a fragile world with this character at the centre.

He attends a convention in hopes of getting closer to her, in a relationship where love doesn't demand answers. However, he will be forced to confront the meaning of loving an ideal rather than loving what's behind the mask when he meets a cosplayer.

Hana is a professional cosplayer who has created a persona which hides her social anxiety. She believes that maybe no one truly sees her, and meeting Ori is the beginning of a long overdue confrontation, in which she begins to wonder why she kept the door shut on this cage for so long.

Their meeting sparks a journey in which both must face their own version of reality.
